About Twin Fin
Twin Fin is a curated surf matchmaking service that connects surfers based on shared surf spots, skill level, availability, and goals. We facilitate introductions between members via email. We are not a dating service, agency, or social network.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By signing up to Twin Fin, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not complete the sign-up form.
3. Eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or older to join Twin Fin. By signing up, you confirm that the information you have provided is accurate and complete.
4. Our Service
Twin Fin provides introductions between members. We do not guarantee the quality, suitability, or outcome of any match or in-person meeting. Matching is based on the information you provide at sign-up and is subject to pool availability.
5. Your Responsibilities
By joining Twin Fin, you agree to:
Treat other members with respect
Provide accurate information in the sign-up form
Use the service for its intended purpose only
Take personal responsibility for any in-person meetings you choose to attend
6. In-Person Meetings
Twin Fin facilitates introductions only. We are not present at, and take no responsibility for, any in-person interaction between members. We recommend meeting at a busy, public surf spot for a first session.
Twin Fin accepts no liability for any loss, injury, or harm arising from interactions between members, whether online or in person.
7. Member Conduct
Twin Fin reserves the right to remove any member from the service at any time if their behaviour is reported as inappropriate, harmful, or inconsistent with the spirit of the community. Reports can be made to hello@twinfinsocial.com.
8. Gender Preferences
Twin Fin respects all gender match preferences stated at sign-up. These preferences are always honoured in the matching process. Misrepresentation of gender identity for the purpose of circumventing another member's preferences may result in immediate removal from the service.
9. Data and Privacy
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at twinfinsocial.com/privacypolicy. By signing up, you consent to your data being used for matching purposes as described in that policy.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Twin Fin shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or any interaction with another member.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active members of any material changes by email. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
